Search for specific Tarcy Su sites
Here is my gem that has been polished over and over many times. You may use more than one search criterion.
At the moment there's only one small problem ... I haven't had the time to enter any data. You'll only get a few sample pages for the time being.

Step One: Enter your search criteria.
Instructions
http:// You may type in as much or as little of the domain name. For example, "www.geoc".
However, no IP numbers will be understood.
title: For title or author, type in a keyword or the exact title. For example, "tarcy".
author:
extent:full site
section of a site
single page tribute
official/commercial
This classification is introduced because I found it helpful to categorise my database. Often, sites that are "full site" and those that are a "section of a site" are about the same size. You may search for only one of these at a time.
medium:english
chinese
others
Some users may prefer to search for only english or only chinese sites. Interestingly, there are also sites in other mediums such as japanese. If you select "english" and "chinese", only sites which are billingual with english and chinese will appear.
downloads: photos
audio
news
other downloads
This feature is handy when you are looking for pictures to download or want to find a site with news articles about Tarcy. You may select more than one option.
my rating: Webmasters, please do not get offended if your rating is low!! A higher rating is given to sites which I feel have a lot of work put into them, or will be a pleasure to visit.
Step Two: Click "Search" to begin the search, which may take a few moments. Or Click on "Clear" if you wish to re-input your criteria.

Step Three: Scroll through the list of matched websites. If you wish to visit any site,
copy the address using "ctrl-c" and then use "ctrl-v" to paste it into the address field of your browser.
Key to symbols used above: First 4 columns are url, title, author and email respectively.
The fifth column denotes the extent: (f)ull, (s)ection, (t)ribute or (c)ommerical.
The sixth column denotes the medium: (e)nglish, (c)hinese or (o)ther.
The seventh column denotes the downloads available: (P)hotos, (A)udio, (N)ews or (D) for other downloads.
The eighth column is my ratings, while the final column shows some of my comments.
The main purpose of this page is to show what I've been working on.
If you think other criteria are useful for classifying webpages, or have general comments, please email me at [email protected]
ps. if anyone knows cgi-script and would like to write an application to do the same thing, do contact me too!
